Sun has always aspired to make meaningful architecture that can affect people in their daily lives. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, and graduated Korea National University of Arts with B.Arch. Through various work experiences, including retail projects to housing and civil architecture in South Korea and the U.S. In 2017, Sun obtained her M.S. in Architecture with an emphasis in Ecological and Sustainable Design from Kansas State University.
Sun joined the Justice Studio at TreanorHL as an Architectural Designer in 2016. Since then, she has been actively engaging with justice facility projects including courthouses and correctional facilities. As a civil servant, she believes that creating a better place for the general public is a vital mission for an architect. |
