- 2 overlapping positions filled at alternating years
- Positions filled by states on a rotating basis (order: Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri)

Must begin term as an unlicensed professional (may become licensed during 2 year term)
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Serve as chair of Emerging Professionals Committee (Junior Co-Chair during first year of term, Senior Co-Chair during second year of term)
- Participate in monthly Central State Regional conference calls

Organize and lead monthly Central States Emerging Professional conference calls

Develop programs and resources for the benefit of emerging professionals in the Central States region
- Maintain regular contact with the Regional NAC & YAF Representatives and other RADs as appropriate to facilitate communication and dissemination of information and knowledge sharing and to assist them in identifying areas in which NAC and YAF can facilitate, contribute to, or actively support existing Associate programs
- Work with the Central States Regional Representatives to generate expanded interest in the profession and the AIA
- Work with the University Liason and Professional Liaison to develop outreach programs for students and potential Associate members
- Work with collateral organizations to develop joint program efforts
- Serve as a resource by providing regional best practices for dissemination to other Component Associate Directors as appropriate
- Serve on sub-committees as required for implementation of resources
- Annual donation to ArchiPAC encouraged
