Lyndley Kent is an Architect with Neumann Monson Architects out of their Des Moines studio. Elevated to shareholder in 2019, she serves as a project manager, project architect, and resource for younger staff in the office and the design community. Lyndley also serves as a member of the firm’s Green Team and Quality Assurance Team.
Lyndley has led and worked on a variety of project types, from historic renovations, religious and educational facilities, adaptive reuse, mixed-use multi-family, corporate offices to a federal courthouse. Her projects have received several local and regional design awards. Among other projects, Lyndley is currently leading sustainability efforts on the office’s first Living Building Challenge project. Lyndley graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) in 2012, served on Iowa Women in Architecture’s board 2016-2019, and currently serves on the AIA Iowa’s Convention Planning Committee, and AIA Iowa’s Awards Committee. In her free time, Lyndley enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and travelling. |
