Emily Roesler, a Lincoln Nebraska native, always wanted to give back to communities through architecture.
While attending the College of Architecture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she was a senior mentor for the Responsible Design Learning Community, a recruiter for the college, and a teaching assistant. She graduated with her Masters of Architecture degree in May 2017 and joined DLR Group as a project designer shortly thereafter. In the first few years of her career with DLR Group, she was involved with K-12, mixed use, workplace, and sports sectors in both Lincoln and all over the country. Those projects have enhanced the human experience through design, and allowed Emily to play an integral role in all phases of the design and construction processes. Emily is currently involved in AIA at the local, state, and regional levels; AIA Lincoln as an Associate Director , AIA Nebraska as both an Associate Director and Emerging Professionals Committee Co-Chair, and AIA Central States as the Associate Representative for Nebraska. |
