2012 CSR Student competition
WHAT: 2012 Central States Emerge: Student Design Competition
WHO: Students from schools of architecture in the Central States Region.
Participating schools are:
KANSAS – Kansas State University, University of Kansas
NEBRASKA – University of Nebraska
IOWA - Iowa State University
OKLAHOMA – Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma
MISSOURI – Drury University, Washington University
PROJECT BRIEF: To design the traveling trophy that will be awarded to the competition winners in the future CSR AIA Annual Convention Student Design Competitions.
TEAM REQUIREMENTS: The competition team shall consist of four members and an alternate. A faculty advisor and/or practitioner may be present and assist the students with critiques of potential design solutions. AIAS may act as the organizer for the team.
DESIGN GUIDELINES: The trophy shall be representative of the Central States Region and something winning schools will be proud to display. It must be large enough to be on display and be seen as unique and impressive.
SCHEDULE: Designs must be completed and submitted before the AIA Central States Fall Conference, which takes place October 4th and 5th, 2012.
